Welcome Sylvia Patterson, Interim Executive Director
ONPHA is pleased to announce the board has appointed Sylvia Patterson as Interim Executive Director. Please join us in welcoming her to the team.
Sylvia is a familiar face to ONPHA and many of our members, having served as president from 2011 – 2014 and also as the lead consultant on our current strategic plan. She brings close to 40 years of experience in delivering and managing Housing and related services. Her passion for Housing issues in Ontario and her strength in leading organizational change has been highly recognized in the sector.
In 2014, Sylvia retired from her role as General Manager, Housing and Long Term Care at the Region of York, and continues to share her knowledge and talents through her consulting practice and participation in sector organizations.
Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies, a Master’s Certificate in Municipal Management from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a Graduate Diploma in Social Innovation from the University of Waterloo.
